Dudes hecz put maniac in rehab , went into his apartment and cleaned the drugs out himself. Hecz is a leader & would do the right thing for any of the guys
Yeah sounds like Pred denied that option
@@patrickthomas2650 Gambling addiction is way different than an actual drug addiction. Pred has handled it a different way

Maniac is the example people need to think about when it comes to "dropping players at their lowest" because Hector stood by Maniac and got him the help he needed. Real love right there.
Maniac was using drugs not borrowing money from teammates

@@tonyr6180 U dont even gotta answer. Anyone thats had a loved one go through addiction knows the answer.
@robert-zr1kx Exactly. I used to spend hundreds of dollars on brown heroin, weed, and booze everyday. That adds up after a while. Did that for almost 20yrs. Making 120k and spending it all on drugs while still being broke. Yes drugs are very expensive
@@robert-zr1kx yes exactly what he thinks 😂
Nade said it perfectly. Hector is one of the nicest most loyal people in the community. They have respected Pred and his privacy more than most orgs would. People just be yappin I swear
Nade is pretty much implying Pred side is bs. They wouldn’t just drop him out of nowhere after winning a ring for them, there’s more to the story that Nade already knows and isn’t trying to give up too much, some of you guys are so naive
@ I think I explained why optic would do that pretty well. Read carefully

@ I guarantee you it’s because of FanDuel. That’s a bad look if someone on your team had a gambling addiction especially if he was asking his own team for money. There wouldn’t be any leniency

I couldn’t even work a normal job right away I needed to sit at home and decompress. Never talk shit about a guys mental health issues
So it's safe to say you're both finished your Call of duty?
All jokes aside glad you're well
@ exactly 😂 thanks brotha
I forgot what they called it, but the Romans would put the returning soldiers in a camp for eight months to a year because they realized the soldiers needed time to decompress before being let back into society. Unfortunately, we don't do such things today. I'm glad you got your mental right and you made it back. God bless you.
Ty for your service brother
If people think optic and H3CZ drops people at their lowest, I’d like to direct you to what happened with Dashy. Hector is the only reason Dashy was able to stay on OpTic and the only reason he’s now a champion

Lets not forget how Hecz help maniac! Hecz is a real one ☝️

@@airexpct6224 tbh i think this point about them helping nick is a fallacy. when you look back at that time and the content he was in, it was so damn obvious to us that he was tweaked outta his mind, imagine how obvious it must have been for all of them. They all knew about it and yet did nothing for ages, They only went to help him when the videos came out and people were all up in the comments drawing attention to it.
I give props to hecz and optic for eventually helping him, but lets be real they only got involved once he became a brand issue, and if he hadn't of been successfully in rehab they wouldve dropped him and moved on. but he was successful so you know what they do? they package it all up in a nice little process video to say "look, we care" but in reality its all just a PR stunt to make sure their brand is protected.
@@Jockuptownyou are exactly right but the fanboys will live in ignorance, let them, as the saying goes...it's bliss

Such a crazy situation. Wishing Pred the best. Hopefully he gets the help he needs.
People are always chatting about bs, it was probably more of Preds decision to not play than anyone else, If im Pred and im going through shit where i dont feel like myself, id still want my boys to win, and if me being benched gives them the ability to do so then absolutely id stop playing.
He didn't get benched though, he got dropped,
Answer this then, why did he play in the league matches, why did he stream tuesday night and play 8s with Shotzzy if he knew he was just gonna take a leave... He got dropped 12 hours after streaming the night before and that isnt sus to you at all? lul

As an Aussie, I understand his gambling addiction (I don’t gamble or even know how to myself) but my close mates are all very bad gamblers and no matter how much I try tell them to save their money they don’t listen and end up complaining to me about how much they lost or sometimes ask me if they can borrow money and I always say no, it helps them in some sort of way. I hope pred can surround himself with good people who can help him fix his addiction, it’s not easy.
The gaming side of things, I have a couple friends who play for big orgs like OpTic but for apex legends, they’re Aussie and the home sickness they get because they are always in America to compete is also a huge thing and a big mental toll, so I can understand that side of things with Pred.
Nade spoke it truly how it is. There is clearly something more to all of this. If it was something with his mental and personal issues…Pred had like 3 to 4 months to get shxt straight and situated. Why now all the sudden he can’t do it and needs to move back home and completely get wiped off everything… Like there is clearly and evidently more to this story that Pred is scared to share and OpTic is unwilling to share
Nade looking at it like when can I pick him up 😂
Sports betting: You can’t bet on yourself
Politicians: we need to invest in..
he says he can't play and needs help and then a minute later says he's a free agent and ready to play? what?
he says he's a free agent and can play( immediately after says when i am ready to play) he's just saying this to shut down the rumors that he can no longer play in the league because of speculated gambling on matches
He’s a bum liar what do you expect
Did you even listen to it? He’s saying he’s still technically on the market, he’s not suspended or anything and when he’s ready he can sign anywhere.
Dudes a 23 year old who has moved half way across the world and now has the brightest of lights on him with both Optic and being a CDL champion. He is probably just struggling with letting his pride get in the way of opening up. Looks like the type of guy who would rather be tough and keep it all bottled up rather than opening up to someone and appearing "weak". Hope he sorts it out bc kids an absolute talent
The video from Pred is 100% more to it than what he’s giving! His name is banned in Scump and Zinni’s chats on twitch, and when Shotzzy mentioned his name on the Watch Party Saturday both Scump and Crim had some crazy reactions to Shotzzy using his name! I feel like it’s a lot deeper than we are being told right now! And to top it off OpTic didn’t even do a post about him leaving the team or thanking him for all he did while on the Org
Shout out Pred for taking care of himself first. Bro plays video games as a job. We play for fun. We can’t imagine the mindset and expectations he has for himself or what others expect of him in his professional & personal life. Pred stepping away should teach us all a lesson. No matter what *honor yourself* which in turn takes care of yourself and ensure happiness. Much love Pred your dope af brother. Also Shout out Nade for correcting the bs from that glue sniffer.
He literally admitted to being a gambling addict without saying it just by saying “I’m not that dumb, gambling is everyone choice gamble responsibly” not knocking him but he said a lot by beating around the bush. Hope he get better with whatever is going on 🙏🏻
Lmao gambling addicts know that’s what he’s talking about😭 “I was so embarrassed to tell anyone” if you honestly think about it , it explains a lot
yea so? there is a difference between gambling and being an gambing addict..
Go back to school. He literally said the rumors are debunked and it's a personal issue which means a mental issue.
@@USMCgrunt11 USMC grunt telling me to go back to school is so ironic…he never said he didn’t gamble himself exclusively just that he didn’t bet on his own CDL matches… maybe you should’ve used those context clues they taught you in 3rd grade, then again that would be expecting a lot from someone from dumbest branch in the military.
@@chefizzy2238 “context clues” does not mean facts
I love nade man, dude fucking gets it.
None of this adds up... optic wouldn't treat him this way if he was stepping away from mental health
He’s able to still play in the CDL so he obviously didn’t do anything that “serious” in a legal stand point at least
I don’t think it was Pred’s decision to “step away”.
I think Hecz offered Pred help and AG continued to struggle and be cantankerous to be around, and so Hecz made the decision to reach out to Pred’s family and forced him to step away so he didn’t have a steady stream of income to continue feeding his addiction.
When you have a gambling problem that pretty much falls under mental health
I agree - maybe he didn’t do something that messed up his relationship with the CDL as a whole but seemingly did mess up his relationship with Optic and Hecz to the point they’re basically sending him away
They would. They are a business.
Very mature from Pred to open up and take accountability. There are so many distractions (IG, youtube, games, alcohol etc) that its so easy to forget about the real issues that need addressing.
bro is fighting demons and doesnt wanna fuck up the friendships and pro relationships he has and needs to be in a new environment hope he gets the mental clarity he needs
Pred take the time you need brother everyone has there issues demons they need to tackle and sometimes it’s on your own is the best way to
Hecz couldve erased Maniac from Optics legacy forever when he had those issues with drugs, he was doing some heavy shit turning into a fucking dirtball yet Hecz payed for rehab and sent him there was also there every step.
Thats the type of leader/father fugure you need in life. Shout out Hecz man dudes a legend un the scene
Why is no one saying that the reason Optic isn't coming out and saying more about this situation is because it could lead them into a HIPAA, or GINA violation? Mental health issues are still protected under these and releasing any of this information could get them in hot water.
People need to realise gambling problem =/= gambling addiction

I love seeing these young men make good money from something they love doing, so wishing him the best and to get back at it sooner than later. 💪
No he had real problems. Gambling off stream is one of it. The second problem was how he showed up at “work”. Go watch the last few weeks “Optic Network” podcasts and observe how he looks. Looks tired. Looks like he doesn’t want to be there. Again - a result of gambling after hours. Probably put up a grumpy attitude if someone checked him on that.

i mean the narrative is that he had gambling problems. But like where is the proof of this tho, and dont say he talked about it all the time on stream or on podcasts. That has nothing to do with the situation at hand of whether or not his issue right now is with debts or gambling addiction. If you all somehow have factual evidence hes in legal trouble, i havent heard of any of that, so idk whats goin on with the narrative here
I clicked on this video thinking of OpTic Predator as in the og sniper
People are waaaay to ignorant... Pred is clearly not saying anything of substance, and is not being truthful.
The entire timeline doesn't make sense. Not a single person in the entirety of the league are even mentioning the word 'Pred'.
This is not a mental break issue, there is something that happened that has caused everyone to pretend he never existed.
Sounds like addiction or something man. Tough situation. I hope he gets all the help he needs
I don't see optic dropping him for that. Unless he completely denied rehab. I'm which case the only option would be to drop him. You can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves.
For sure gambling
@ could’ve been a mutual decision ya know. But honestly who knows 🤷🏻♂️ just hope it isn’t too serious
@@jamesjazz3395you gotta watch the whole Pred explanation. He admitted to denying help from Optic, so it sounds to me like he’s taking the first big step and admitting he’s in trouble mentally rn.
@Benz-mc5vv I did watch the whole thing, thanks. I wouldn't say denying help and running from your problems is taking a step forward, though. He needs professional help. Mommy and Daddy aren't going to fix your mental illness.
Bro they kept maniac in the org while he was a full drug addict and in rehab. Ain’t no way this was just a mental health thing
Maniac wasn’t on 500,000 a year
Like Pred said, Optic wanted to help. So maybe this is moreso him distancing himself from them so he can help himselfby going home and resetting
@@patrickwalker7691yea this doesn't sound COD related.....it's a cop out but I bet it's some kind of lady issue, bad breakup or something can take someone out mentally for a while and they won't even realize it till someone says something
the difference is Maniac was suicidal and asked for help, Pred just isn't himself and denied help and just wanted to go home. Context definitely helps...
Super sad to hear about pred. Hoping he can come back even stronger soon. Even more hopes it can be back with the green wall. Cheers and best wishes
I definitely now want to see how his gambling slips are looking if he’s heavy on that issue gotta be a little curious might’ve put alot on his under & cleaned house
Timing is everything and a mental break alone right after opening weekend doesn’t add up. We can all put the half truths together and see the bigger picture until Optic speaks on it.
I really hate to say this but I will. Mental health is the biggst cop out. Now hear me out, you win champs and as a competitor that's the highest dope you can get. Then you go on a crazy lengthy vacation afterwards to celebrate. At any other job you can't just say "hey I got problems at home, I quit" but I'll come back a couple months later. This whole situation is a red flag and TBH shame on the community for accepting this cop out of an excuse. Everyone deals with struggles and to say optic unfollowed me because I'm not on the team anymore is insane. Hopefully one day we get the truth
Hoping the best of Pred. Id hate to lose one of my best customers.
But he still has 72 hours to get me my money if he wants to avoid a broken leg.
Only one real OpTic Pred the ogs know
0:48 what the hell type of answer is that. 😂 “gambling gambling gambling at the end of the day it’s everyone’s decision to make and gamble responsibly” …that addresses nothing lol text book Denial.
It addresses that gambling wasn’t the issue like everyone is saying. At least that is what Pred is claiming. Could you seriously not comprehend that?
It’s pretty clear that he gambles and that it isn’t his main issue. Otherwise he wouldn’t even talk about re entering the league. If it’s not something illegal or against league rules and if optic has 0 bad blood like nade himself is saying what makes you think your opinion holds any value, there’s literally no reason to think it’s a gambling issue other than rumors
@@Vobrogyeah okay bro, you must know pred and the optic guys personally
The main problem is definitely the gambling. Only stupid people think otherwise. If it was less severe, he would’t get dropped but benched.

Hope he finds peace for his mental. Dude Is mad talented and full of potential.
U can say what u want, but if it was how pred is saying it is and he was going to miss the first major and try to come back, optic would not have dropped him, they would put him on the bench, like the fact that’s he is no longer apart of the organization, they blurred out his image, they didn’t even acknowledge anything about it, there’s something more here then just pred needs to step away
I can see one of the optic guys try to give him advice/support and PRED crashing out. Dissing everyone and the org lol.
I LOVE HeCz and the rest of the OpTic family and I will continue to pray for the team and I hope he can return more fully whole mentally and physically after the minor tourney
u actually pray for Esports people and teams ?
4:30 to add onto that, they also went after him hard in the offseason before mw2 so they clearly wanted him. i'm sure optic had a say as well, but listening to pred talk it genuinely sounds like he may have made the decision more than optic did.
i genuinely hope he gets through whatever he's going through cause no matter what team he's on the dude is fun to watch play cod.
This is the funniest thing to happen in the cdl in awwwwhile (stewie). It's usually someone with a faze tag stealing from a kids charity or something, so this is a good change, lmao!!!
Sounds like anxiety attacks to me
To me it does seem odd that he would no longer be on Optic unless something fairly serious took place. Why wouldn’t he just move to the bench or something like that if he expects to try to make a return after major one? Something doesn’t quite add up with him being dropped/leaving the team if he’s simply struggling with mental health issues that he expects to return from.
I would have liked to hear some accountability or admission of being wrong or wrong doing from pred. Just saying "nobody did anything wrong" is a step, but it would have been nice to hear "nobody made any mistakes to get me into this situation EXCEPT me"
He did admit that it’s him, it’s only his own fault why he’s not there right now and he actually made it quite clear, he just didn’t say it the way YOU want to hear it so you think he didn’t
Bro he is getting help and even stepped away from his dream (playing call of duty) to do so. What more accountability do you need. Want him to send you a text message and say sorry? 😂
That’s literally what he said tho just not in those exact words you want. Him claiming others were trying to help and he didn’t accept and saying he wasn’t the best version of himself is exactly what you want just not in your words
@@ItzWavyBrazy it usually isn't best if it takes a life altering intervention (like being removed from your full time job and sent back home across the world) for someone to begin taking accountability. I heard "gambling is every individuals choice" and "don't blame them it's nobody's fault". I'm glad he's getting help, part of his message in this short stream should have been "hey I made some mistakes, I'm owning up to them, and trying to take steps to improve" simply saying "my mental health is bad" is just a RESULT of his actions not a justification for his actions. But it's a step I guess
@@MisterChunkah unless the clip was cut short, critical information was removed, or he's made separate statements else where I'm not hearing what you are hearing. This was a surface level response, someone who's expecting to return in 2 months would be ready to take more accountability
They can all say what they want but something more happened. Crazy how everything leaks everywhere except somehow the cod community never says anything
I don’t see why it matters who knows what’s going on or who doesn’t. Pred said himself in this video he left bc he felt he couldn’t compete bc of his headspace. I feel like that’s the only answer we need. If we fw pred we leave him and his friends alone and hope he comes back.

Hey Pred, first of all I love you. And remember we are only one parlay away from winning it all back ❤
I’m almost positive this isn’t the first time optic have done this, I remember from years ago around nades time I believe, hector had offered to send someone in the org to rehab and then hector paid the whole way and kept their salary intact. If he offered help and like pred said he wasn’t using the advice and pushing it off then hector did try again but he didn’t want to get help. Shoulda, coulda, woulda, isn't helpful. He didn't make excuses. Just said his shit's not right and he needs time away. There's no "right" or "wrong" to that decision. It's just what he needs. Sure, there could be professional consequences, but there's consequences for every single action. If he obsesses about his future career now, then he just puts his personal issues on the backburner once again and that doesn't solve anything.
He's gotta do what he's gotta do.

I hope he gets back on Optic
Let's go pred. Get better and show back up.
We don’t have a clue what’s going on. There’s rumors flying about this and that. Pred and Optic left amicably. It could be 100 different reasons why this happened. Is it sus? Yeah, but we know NOTHING. There’s a reason Pred and Optic haven’t spoke much on it. That isn’t for us to KNOW. It’s not our business. We just have to accept what’s going on and move on. Also, Shotzzy defended he’s struggles with SnD on the watch party, which tells me that Ant cares for him on some capacity. I’m assuming there’s an NDA between Optic and Pred about it all. Time will tell.
I would think they’ll just put pred on the bench instead of dropping especially if he is coming back
On the CDL website, it does say he moved to backup. I dont know if hes still on optic though.

Nade gonna be picking pred up soon watch
😂😂 nah what’s crazy is preds disappeared from the optic brand and everything can’t say his name on stream
Moving from another country is tough and it will catch up to you!
We're not getting the whole story. Pred is one of my favorite players but he absolutely threw this opportunity away. I have anxiety and depression and have to go work every day, no exceptions. He has access and money and the means to get the best help available and he gave it up.
If he was really blameless, Optic would have put him on the bench, he could come out and say it's 100% mental, everyone would support him. He did something.
Im not going to speculate what he did but yeah it is extremely weird Optic isnt publicly supporting or aknowledging him and is almost embarassed to even speak about him. Definitely not getting every side here.
This is crazy delusional. While you're able to go to work with 'anxiety and depression', someone out there is calling in sick or already in the hospital due to it. I'm not even going to expand any further but I hope you can realize how ignorant your comment actually was.
@@shawn1091bro they literally dropped him. If it was actually due to mental health issues he would’ve still been in the org I mean in the past they’ve kept ppl with even drug issues and helped them out. Instead they dropped him entirely and the whole org won’t even speak his name
Gambling issues is the real reason
@@austinalexander6240 again shame on him for not taking the help.
Brain rot in the comments
Facts. Too many idiots.
I struggled with drugs and alcohol. What could be worse than that? I bet he's using.
